Model Overview
The Lincoln Corsair is available in two trims: Standard and Reserve. A turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine producing 250 horsepower and 280 lb-feet of torque is standard while A 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is available on the Reserve offering 45 more horses and 30 more torques. Both engines transmit power through an 8-speed transmission. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is an upgrade on all models.

Corsair Standard models come excellently equipped as one might expect from a Lincoln. Starting with an 8-inch infotainment screen, 10-way adjustable "soft-touch" heated leather seats, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, SYNC3 phone integration, SiriusXM radio and a 10-speaker audio system. Both rows of seats are also available with ventilation and heat.

Reserve trimmed Corsairs step things up with embedded 4g WiFi, a 14-speaker Revel audio system, a voice-activated navigation system, power-folding second row seats, 12-volt power sockets, a frameless auto dimming mirror and Lincoln's "Phone As A Key" technology which allows drivers to lock and unlock the Corsair, open the liftgate and drive the car with nothing but their smartphone.

Lincoln takes safety features to the next level. Each Corsair includes Lincoln Co-Pilot360, a comprehensive technology-based safety system that includes blind spot monitoring, rear-collision detection as well as collision warning systems that can intervene with automatic braking if needed. Forward collision warning with pedestrian detection is also included. Lane-keeping system will help nudge you back into your lane should you be distracted and automatic high beams will keep drivers from neglecting their high-beams and blinding oncoming traffic.

The 2020 Lincoln Corsair is an all-new compact luxury SUV replacing the outgoing Lincoln MKC. Its signature grille, LED lighting and S-section side panel contour design helps visually set the Corsair apart. Inside, Lincoln's "Phone As A Key" technology allows drivers to lock and unlock the Corsair, open the liftgate and drive the car with just their smartphone. Other touches such as six unique symphonic interior chimes recorded by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, a digital dash and rich leather interior provide a luxurious essence to the overall experience. Second row seats that slide fore and aft 6 inches and excellent stow and go interior capability provide the versatility needed from a compact SUV.

In the realm of compact luxury SUVs like the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, the Lincoln Corsair is stepping into a crowded ring. The Corsair is the latest Motorcraft vehicle to receive Lincoln's new "Quiet Flight" design, which prioritizes serenity and comfortable driving experience over performance. While a starting price of around $36,000 puts it right in the middle of the segment, but with its emphasis on ultimate comfort and luxury means it offers a unique experience in the luxury SUV category. While BMW and Audi may lean into their performance roots with regards to driving experience, the Corsair isn't willing to make those kinds of compromises in pursuit of a tranquil commute.
